We were delighted when exciting new literary website BookSmoke named The Human Script by Johnny Rich as their book of the year and even more delighted when they approached us about cohosting an event in London to launch the paperback edition. We’re always up for a party…
So on Tuesday 17th November we descended on the appropriately literary-named Betsey Trotwood pub in Farringdon.
Author Johnny Rich prepares to take the stage at the Betsey
BookSmoke founder Alex Masters took to the stage with Johnny in front of a packed audience. Johnny read two extracts from the book, holding the audience riveted. Then he answered questions from Alex and members of the audience in a lively Q&A session exploring some of the novel’s central ideas, including genetics, free will, religion, science, literature, postmodernism and Douglas Adams.
